The German Foundation for Engagement and Volunteering (DSEE) is supporting Helping Hands Academy e.V. through its 2026 microfunding programme.
The funded project is entitled “Digitalisation of the association’s infrastructure to professionalise development cooperation and public relations at Helping Hands Academy e.V.”
The funding enables us to continue strengthening the organisational and digital foundations of our work. This includes reliable digital structures, professional collaboration within our international team, and stronger and more transparent public communication about our projects.
For a young non-profit organisation in particular, well-functioning structures behind the scenes are an important prerequisite for implementing projects reliably and sustainably over the long term. Digitalisation is not an end in itself for us. It is intended to simplify processes, facilitate cooperation across national borders and help ensure that as many resources as possible can be directed towards the actual project work.
The support from DSEE enables us to develop these foundations step by step and to continue professionalising the organisational structure of Helping Hands Academy.
For us, the funding commitment is therefore not only support for one individual project, but also confirmation of the path we are taking: sustainable project work also requires reliable structures behind the scenes.
