Support can take many forms.

Helping Hands Academy is built on the commitment of people who support our work. Many of us volunteer our time, knowledge and skills to advance education, health and sustainable development in The Gambia.

But volunteer work also needs financial support.

It is not only our projects that cost money. The organisation behind them also needs to function: our website, software, technical equipment, communication, administration and many other areas involve ongoing costs. These are necessary so that we can prepare, coordinate and implement projects reliably.

Every donation therefore helps us twice: it makes concrete projects possible and strengthens the structures that make our work possible in the first place.

But support does not only mean money.

Perhaps you would like to become a member, contribute your experience and skills, connect us with others or tell other people about our work. Each of these contributions can create new opportunities.
